Hisab (हिसाब)
Private, on-device expense analysis for Indian statements.
Get it on the App Store Source on GitHub
Import your Google Pay, Paytm, or BHIM transaction exports and your HDFC / IDFC FIRST bank statements. Hisab parses them deterministically, organizes everything into monthly buckets, cross-checks payment-app records against bank statements, and shows you where the money went — entirely on your iPhone.
- Nine statement formats, each verified to the paisa against the statement's own printed totals.
- Reconciliation: every app payment is matched to its bank-statement row by UPI reference; unmatched payments are flagged.
- No duplicates, ever: overlapping and re-imported statements collapse by transaction identity.
- Open source (Apache-2.0) — add a parser for your own bank.
Privacy Policy
Effective 6 September 2026.
Hisab is designed so that there is nothing to have a policy about:
- No data collection. Hisab collects, transmits, and shares no data — financial or otherwise. There are no analytics, no trackers, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers.
- No network access. The app makes no network requests. Statements you import are parsed and stored only in the app's private storage on your device, protected by iOS.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no server to hold your information.
- Statement passwords you choose to save are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only.
- Deleting data: remove individual documents in the app, use Settings → Erase all data, or delete the app — nothing persists anywhere else.
Because the developer never receives your data, the developer cannot access, recover, sell, or delete it on your behalf. This policy can only change alongside the app's open-source code, in public.
